DAY 01 | Airport – Sigiriya

Welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Sigiriya, a region known for its rich history and scenic beauty

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with breathtaking views. Continue to Polonnaruwa for a sightseeing tour of its ancient ruins and well-preserved relics. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, known for its thriving elephant population. Return to Sigiriya in the evening

Depart for Kandy, stopping en route to explore the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, renowned for its ancient murals and Buddha statues. Optional visits to a herbal/spice garden and a batik factory in Matale. In Kandy, enjoy sightseeing at key attractions, including the Royal Botanical Gardens, a vibrant cultural dance show, and the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Optional visits to a handicraft center and a gem lapidary & museum

Travel to Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route to admire the stunning Ramboda Waterfall. Visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the craftsmanship behind Sri Lanka’s renowned Ceylon tea. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, discovering its colonial charm, scenic landscapes, and refreshing climate.

Depart for Yala, traveling through the picturesque hill country. En route, stop in Ella to admire the scenic Rawana Waterfall. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure upon arrival in Yala

Depart for Negombo, stopping en route for a city tour of Galle, where you can explore the historic Galle Fort and its colonial charm. Visit a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda to learn about sea turtle conservation efforts

Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure or continue to a beach resort for a relaxing stay
